A few weeks ago, while sitting at the bar at the Tasting Room in Seattle, I discovered a delicious holiday sipper worth sharing. While I slowly moved through a flight of Washington wines, the fellow sitting next to me ordered a Merry Mimosa. Being somewhat of a mimosa connoisseur – I support any excuse for bubbles in the morning – I asked what the ingredients were…
- 3 oz. champagne or prosecco
- 1 oz. white port
- 1 dash of cranberry juice
- 1 smaller dash of orange juice
- Toss in a few frozen cranberries for garnish
The above measurements are to suit my own palate, and can be adjusted accordingly. I suggest trying the festive concoction over, and over again until you get it just right.
